Vehicle Detail

Hello! This car is in good shape and has a very nice rare color combination of Black with a light oak interior which is much less common then the usual black on black. Runs very strong with immediate throttle response. Engine was well maintained and it shows. Does not appear to me that there has been body work done to this car as everything looks original. Other then the driver side seat bolster being worn through where the driver gets in and out the interior is in mint condition (picture of the worn bolster below). Has the chrome 5 star wheels with a mint spotless engine as you can see in the pictures. I will try to be as detailed about the cars imperfections as possible for buyer piece of mind. When I got the car inspected in June the Chevrolet dealership told me the sensor the ignition key is older and faulty. As a result occasionally upon start-up, the car's display will tell you to pull the key and wait 10 seconds and reinsert the key to start it up. This display reading happens about thirty percent of the time and wasn't enough of a hassle for me to spend the extra 50 bucks on a key. The glass removable targa top has the GM usual hazing from old age on the passenger side(shown in picture below). Does not affect functionality. On the driver rear wheel well at the very top there is a eraser size blemish that as been touched up with GM color coded corvette black touch up paint(seen in picture below). And finally there is a small rub mark on the driver side front bumper(displayed in picture below). The tires match and have about 60% tread left on them. The brakes are good. I did just have this inspected in June so it's ready to drive. That should cover everything a potential buyer would want to know. I ran into a sudden hardship recently and sadly need to let this beautiful car go to make up some money. Feel free to ask and questions you may have. I do have it for sale locally so I reserve the right to end it early. I will list Kelly Blue Book values just to give any potential buyers a ballpark figure of what its worth. It definately falls in or slightly above the Good category for Kelly Blue Book's value. Thanks and Good Luck! Kelly Blue Book Value 1998 Corvette Coupe w/ 77,883 miles Good $14,420 Free of any major defects. Clean title history, the paints, body, and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. Little or no rust on this vehicle. Tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category. Fair $13,270 Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. Tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.
