I purchased this car on EBAY in the spring from a Seller named Bigtall55 (dont ever buy from him he is a scam, a fraud and a thief). I was told the car was in excellent condition with original parts and tens of thousands of dollars worth of repair completed on it. It turns out after I had the car shipped up to me from FL that I had been lied to by the Fraud Bigtall55. You can make my loss your gain. I am now selling this car in its AS-IS condition which is the following: Its a 1970 Mercedes Benz 280SL with 102,680 miles. It has a gold exterior with rusting on most of the panels and a tan interior which is worn in many places. The car would be a great first or second car and if you were into restoring cars it might be good for that as well as I am told many of the parts are original. The car does start and run. I have used it to commute several times in August & September. It has past inspection in NJ in May and if the buyer is in NJ then you will not have to get it re-inspected until May 2011. The car is currently street legal in NJ. The Pros: It looks cool, it runs and drives well, its inexpensive, its street legal. The Cons: It has a lot of rust on the floors and rocker panels, its old and worn.
