The car you are looking at is a 1970 Series one XJ6. This car has been out in the Palm Springs CA desert area for over 32 year. I bought the car from the original owner back in 2007.I bought it with the full intent to restore it back to it's former glory. The car itself is in solid overall condition with a very strong original engine and sound gearbox. I spent $3000 onthe car in the last two years, and the prior owner also put a considerable amount into it over the years. The vehicle needs a new headliner and a very good paint job to look awesome.It has twin gas tanks but only the right one works. It also needs a small amount of electrical work such as turn signals. The body on this car is solid with very little to no rust ! must havebeen all those years out in the Desert. It has all its original chrome.I wish i had the time to finish this classic, but i travel all over the country now and have little or no time to spend onthe car. The car is now in the Los Angeles area. To someone familiar with this classic it still turns heads to this day. With a little TLC this will be a wonderful Jaguar with class.This car is being sold AS IS. The person buying will also be responsible for picking up the vehicle.
