Vehicle Detail
I Have a 55 dodge with the original 270 Hemi. Power Steering, Brakes. It has lots of upgrades. This car has been rewired with a Ron Francis type wire harnes with fuse block using spade type fuses. It has been converted over to 12 volt and a cooling fan added for the hot car cruise days just to be safe. The car is very solid. The only parts that are need of attention are the inner rocker panels and one dog leg. I have both inner and outer replacement rockers that go with the car as well as a new dog leg for the passenger side. The drivers side rear was completely replaced with an original Chrysler Plant fender that we got at Carlisle swap meet for $300. The car has dual exhaust that are new, brand new rear leaf springs that I paid $400 for last year. The front end was converted over to disc brakes with a kit purchased from AAJ Brakes. This is a professional conversion kit that cost me $650 and gives you security that your going to stop when needed. The only other thing needed to drive it now is the rear window put back in. I have the window but it needs the gasket that you can get for $140.00 I have all the chrome that was taken off the car to start restoring it. Here are the extras that go with the car, 1. Extra Windshield 2. Two extra sets of front fenders 3. All the original 6 volt equipment 4. Extra Trunk Lid 5. Extra Headlight Buckets 6. Radiator that was out of a running 56 and don't leak. 7. Gas tank that wsa out of a running 56 8. I have an extra front seat if you want it. 9. Both front Chrome turn signals 10. Three transmissions if you want them 11. Complete front suspension from the 56, Tie rods ect.. 12. Extra Steering column 13. 12 volt starter So you can see that is why I am asking what I am. I drove this car down Pittsburgh quite a few times and went to a lot of cruises in it but family first and need the space so gotta go. My loss your gain.
