1991 Honda CR

Up for auction here in the high desert is a beautifully kept 1991 Honda CR500, which I purchased in 2006 with approximately 14 hours of drive time on it. It was sold new in '92. Since buying it, the CR has been ridden less than 5 hours by me, which is why I'm selling it. I always loved these big CR's and always wanted one. I looked hard to find a super-clean one. This bike is in outstanding condition and has no dents or dings in the pipe or anywhere else I can see. It runs excellent and doesn't appear to have been modified whatsoever from stock. I don't believe the engine has ever been worked on either. No tears in the seat or cracked plastic; no fuel leaks either. Starts pretty easily and runs great. If the bike needs anything, it would probably need tires and grips and probably an air filter (I haven't checked it lately) Considering my low reserve, this has got to be one great deal, considering that this bike is legendary, a mechanical work of art and comparing against the cost of a new Honda dirt bike. As nice as it is, don't expect a museum piece, because it's not. But the pictures of the skid plate and up under the rear fender show just how clean and nice it really is.
