For auction I have a super clean 82 Indy 500 Pace Car Camaro.with almost 64000 original miles. This Camaro runs and drives and is a very very solid car. It has a 305 Crossfire, no tics or taps. auto trans shifts good. This car would be a very easy restore. Paint is original and is faded mostly on the hood and trunk lid. It has some chips and few door dings, it has peeling on the decals It has a small surface rust spot on the rear drivers quarter behind the wheel. It is not through rust but it should be noted. It has the original flappers on the hood that do function.T-tops do not leak or whistle when driving.The Underside of the car is incredibly clean. There are very few areas with surface rust only.The car has many options PS, PB, Cruse, Tilt AC (R-12) Radio cassette, rear window def, PW, PL, Blue/Silver Trim package, Intermittent wiper option. Rear hatch release button front disk rear drum brakes... The interior is in good shape but the driver side seat needs work, There are a couple of holes in the bottom seat it will need recovered. Car runs good. The valve covers do leak but there are no spots under the car that would indicate any engine or tranny leaks.When driving for about an hour the car heated up a bit on me. I shut it down and let it cool, started up and it sat and idled for about 45 min and did not overheat at all. The breaks need done, pulls some to the left, probably from sitting so much and the AC could be colder. It needs charged.There are no major problems with this car. I have documentation about the 82 Indy cars and a copy of the title of this car from previous owner stating that this car has had 18000 miles put on it in the past 23 years.
