1985 GTV6 For sale is a very nice black, '85 GTV6. This car was originally a lease car. It has had at least 3 owners prior to me. Car has approximately 103000 miles on it. Speedometer has been replaced so exact mileage is unknown. Working power brakes, power windows, power mirrors, sunroof, AM/FM cassette, Koni red shocks. Engine runs excellently, no smoke or leaks. Transmission shifts fine, good synchros. Stops and steers straight. 3/4s pad left on brake pads. E-brake works. No driveshaft issues. Good stock exhaust. This car drives great. Very tight with no clunks or rattles. Lights, gauges and accessories function properly(even the clock works!). Good interior. Very good body with solid rockers, floors and inner fenders. No evidence of crash damage. A/C does not work (bad hose). Hatch prop does not hold up hatch. Tires are old and worn. Paint shines but has several chips and small dents. I bought it and several other cars from a collector in Minneapolis. He bought it in 2004 from a man who told him the car was from Texas, which explains why the chassis is so nice. It was kept in a dry building. I don't think it was ever driven in winter. In all, this is a very respectable example. It looks nice inside and out, runs and drives excellent and has no issues stopping it from being used as is. This car is comparable to other GTV6s priced at $6000 or higher.
