These are hard to find cool little sports cars. We bought this for my daughter who will get her license in December and she said she'd like a Jeep instead. Go figure! Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign Subaru only made 25,000 of these and only 14,000 were imported to the US. The color is actually Pearl, way cooler than white but pearl wasn't an option. This car has all the problems you might expect from a car this age. Car is most definately safe. As I this was for my 15yo daughter so the first thing we did was make sure it was mechanically sound. New water pump and timing belt. Ok having said that here is a list of what I know is wrong: Rust on both door panels see pics, The sunroof motor is a little weak you need to give it a little push up to get it started then it opens fine, closes and seals fine. The radio antenae doesn't go all the way down, The cd player doesn't work nor do some of the speakers. The ac doesn't work I don't know if it needs charging or replacing but it does blow just not cold. The light that illuminates the heating, cooling temp takes a while to fully illuminate. The steering wheel only locks in the lowest position. All minor things but I saw this as a cool father daughter project car. Now she owns a jeep. This car is not for everyone it is definately a sports car and a rare find. Must sell we don't need an extra car.
