This vehicle has paint peeling behind the front tires, both sides, on the back door, the hood, roof and trunk lid. There is a dent above the back tire, driver's side, scratch on the back bumper and the passenger door. There are two holes in the front bumper from where the push bumpers would have been. There are 4 holes in the roof from the lightbar and antenna's that have been sealed. There are screw holes in the dash board and glove box door from equipment being attached. There are two holes in the headliner towards the back from a K-9 cage being installed. The rear doors are missing the window buttons and the door lock knobs. The door rods are also missing, there are pieces for the rear doors in the trunk, see pictures.The are in average condition and are snow tires. This vehicle was started and driven on 09-02-10. The past maintenance and repair history of this vehicle is known and it is being sold as is. This vehicle was purchased new by this department and was used as a K-9 car for approximately three years and then was assinged to the transport division and was being used up until approximatley two months ago. It is being sold due to upgrades in the departments fleet of vehicles. The title is registered to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, is clear and ready for new owner transfer. PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle does not have current registration and there are no license plates on the vehicle. If you plan to drive the vehicle from our lot, you will need to purchase plates and current registration tabs. Our License Bureau is located in our same building. For out-of-state buyers, if you wish to drive the vehicle off our lot, you may purchase a 31-day permit for $9.50 or arrangements can be made to send payment and once payment has cleared, The title will be sent to you to register vehicle in your state. For any buyer, if you choose to tow the vehicle, neither one will apply. Buyer is responsible for local pickup only with payment in person within 7 days of end of the auction. Payment can be made by either cash, certified check, money order. Payment is to be done Monday thru Friday, regular business hours so that the title may be transferred on sight.
