Vehicle Detail
1937 Ford rumble seat convertible. Have nice doors, with window frames, fenders need some work, but very restorable. Floors are excellent, as is body. Have top bows, but need to be restored. Mostly complete. We will replace the panel below the rumble lid for an additional $750, including the part. No engine, tranny, bumpers or running boards. Call for info, 512-294-2885. If local could take Honda or Toyota as partial trade. Jim (512) 294-2885On Sep-03-10 at 12:52:16 PDT, seller added the following information: PS - About our 90% rating. We had a 100% positve rating with eBay until we hired a person last year to do it for us. He was remiss in sending out three items on time, and we got 3 negatives. We have not been on eBay in almost a year, and somehow, those three were factored into the 30 transactions we did at that time, not our entire score. The score really should be 99.9%. Our shop, The Auto Depot has been rated #1 seven times by City Search and The Austin Chronicle - www.autodepotaustin.com - and we have a 4.6 rating with City Search. Thanks. On Sep-06-10 at 10:14:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry, I answered this question thinking it was on the 51. I have two hoods, two grills, and one out of each can be made as good as you want. Front fenders are good-excellent, requiring little work. This is a very solid car. There was one on eBay last year here in town where the entire six inches around the bottom was gone, and it went for $6500. This is a very rare car that will make anything you want it to be with all the hard work done. I have the convertible header. On Sep-06-10 at 14:24:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Let me describe the picture of the right rear wheelhouse opening. The piece that looks like a hole, is actually a new piece of metal welded in. All welds on the car are 'butt' welded, and this is simply a repair. The other 'hole' is stock, factory where the gas filler pipe goes in. There is NO perforation rust on the car and no pieces that need to be set in, except under the rumble opening, which we will repair for an additional $750 including the part. On Sep-09-10 at 10:21:04 PDT, seller added the following information: The hood shown has a hole in the center, but we have another with a perfect center section that could be set in. The left rear fender has rust out at the running bnoard, and would need repair where it boltys onto the body. The right rear will need little work. The fronts are solid, with some dings. The grill has a bad bar as seen, but we have another grill that can donate that bar. Over-all, this is a very solid car. Thanks. Any questions, Jim, 512-294-2885, up to 9:30 Central Time, two hours behind Atlantic, one behind Eastern, one ahead of Mountain, and two ahead of Pacific. On Sep-10-10 at 09:50:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Payment of $500 or 15% of auction price, whichever is greater, is due within 48 hours of auction end, by wire transfer or direct deposit to Chase or Bank of America. Balance within 5 days of auction close by similar method. We cannot use Paypal on this, except for deposit. We reserve the right to end the auction early. If you want the car, please call Jim at 512-294-2885, but not after 9:30 pm Central Time. Thanks.I would take a 35-36 sedan delivery body as part trade. On Sep-10-10 at 19:25:23 PDT, seller added the following information: The rumble lid picture is incorrect. The one that goes with the car is fairly straight, has the back portion, needs little repair. Payment terms: 15% within 48 hours of auction close, balance within five days. Can be sent wire-transfer, or direct deposit to a Bank of America or Chase.
