I have original build sheet and motor to this car but neither are included in this auction. Please read the description carefully as I outline in explicit detail the hours, parts, and quality craftsmanship that went into restoring this chassis to 100% factory/showroom condition. The chassis is from an automatic coupe but a quick cross-member swap will enable manual transmission applications. Chassis Restoration Process: The chassis has been stripped and media blasted with aluminum oxide, DA sanded entirely and prepped with Glasurit 360-4. Then the chassis was primed with RM EP764 black. The pitted areas were then repaired with Euercoat Ruge body filler and finished sanded with 180 grit paper. After this intense process, the frame was sprayed with U-Pol Refure Spray Polyester, progressively sanded with 100, 180, and 220 grit sand paper and the sprayed the entire chassis with with PPG K36 Hi-Build primer. Wet sanding then took place with progressive 320, 400, and 600 grit paper which lead to cleaning the entire chassis with Preps-Sol and again areas with exposed metal were sealed. And finally, the entire chassis was painted with two (2) coats of semi gloss black Glasurit Single Stage Black 22-1250 with hardener and Glasurit Flattening agent 522-322. Steering: -The original steering gear box has been completely rebuilt and left in raw steel with a preservative to protect it from flashing. -New high and low pressure lines were also installed. -All steering components have been glass beaded and coated with a preservative, backing plates have been replated as well as all hardware throughout the complete chassis (tie rods, drag link, pitman arm, and idler arm). -Any hardware that was pitted was replaced with NOS items. -The front sway bar, and transmission cross-member have been glass beaded epoxy primed, bodywork filled, spray polyester, primed and painted Glasurit black. Suspension: -The upper and lower control arms were glass beaded, epoxy primed, bodywork filled, spray polyester, primed and painted Glasurit gloss black: -Front and rear springs are correct replacements from Moog. -The upper and lower ball joints are correct reproductions and were riveted to the control arms as in factory fashion. -The shocks are reproduction front/rear Delco Spiral Shocks and are painted OEM grey. -All hardware has been replaced with NOS. -The rear upper and lower trailing arms are original to the chassis and have been glass beaded, epoxy primed, bodywork filled, spray polyester, primed and painted Glasurit gloss black. Rear End: -The rear end has been rebuilt with new gears and axles and professionally set up with 3:31 gears. -The housing as a date of CF-070-13. -The axle tubes were filled and wet sanded and are over restored to factory perfection! Fuel and Brake Lines/Brake System: All fuel lines and brake lines are from Right Stuff Detailing and are armored steel, just as OEM. Brake hoses are NOS original. All emergency brake cables are stainless steel. The brake line clips are original and paint correct color as per OEM. The front brake rotors are original to the chassis (OEM 2 piece rotors). The rotors and the rear drums are the only items on the entire chassis paint with POR15 simulated steel. The brake distribution block has been rebuilt by White Post Restorations. The caliper mounting brackets have been glass beaded and plated chrome-dychromate as OEM. The front calipers have been disassembled, glass beaded and rebuilt then coated with a preservative to protect from flashing. The front brake pads are NOS as well as the rear brake shoes. The rear brake pistons have been replaced with new from The Right Stuff Detailing and the brake kit hardware is NOS. Wheels and Tires: All four (4) wheels are original to the chassis and have been glass beaded, epoxy primed with minor cosmetic bodywork, primed and painted correct silver and dove grey with overspray on the backside of the wheel as factory. The wheels are mounted on reproduction Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 from Kelsey Tire and are brand new (0 miles). Dates are: M19-3-21-YA, M19-5-5-YA, M19-3-22-YA, and M19-3-13-YA. Conclusion: The rear and front suspension have all the proper marking and/or decals as per OEM and upon clean-up of all parts, the daubs and inspection markings have also been replicated. This is a no-expense spared and completely detailed chassis with many NOS, replated, restored and some (sparing number) of reproduction parts. Replicating such a chassis in parts, labor and effort would be very COSTLY! This is ideal for the numbers matching car with a rusty frame, or if desired, a package deal can be agreed upon for the motor, trans and other NOS parts I have. Any questions? Feel free to contact me. Thanks, Dan
