It is Hugger Orange with black vinyl interior and a black vinyl hardtop. This is an original Norwood car with an X22 body code and 12437 model number. It has the 396 cu in 325HP engine with a Muncie M20 4 speed transmission. The car was purchased on September 25, 1969 at Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago, IL. We have a copy of the title application from the Illinois Secretary of State which shows Nickey as the selling dealer. This Camaro was professionally restored about 10 years ago and still is in excellent condition. The body panels and floorboards appear to be original and are in excellent condition. The paint and chrome look like they were just completed. The interior, dash, carpet, seat belts, and shoulder harnesses are also in excellent condition. This is a REAL RS SS 396 car with the colors matching the original trim tag. Hugger Orange is one of the most desirable colors. This Camaro has a numbers matching 396 engine with many original parts. It also has the 12 bolt 3:31 posi rear axle. Many other engine parts including the intake manifold, carburetor, exhaust manifolds and alternator are also correct.
