SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is an amazing 1988 Cadillac Eldorado that is all original and has only 95,000 miles for a 23 year old car (that is less than 5,000 miles per year) It is absolutely perfect for a restoration back to pristine or spend a small amount and just drive it around.I had a professional mechanic look at it and he believes that it needs the catalytic converter replaced as it is likely plugged up and gets hot and then the car loses power (takes about 10 minutes). It starts up fine and runs well until for about 10 minutes, then it runs rough and loses power. It DOES NOT run hot or overheat, it just loses power. It is fully loaded with all options and it has Ice Cold A/C. The body is fantastic for the age, the interior is amazing and the tires and factory rims are great and the top looks great. The transmission shifts perfectly and the car drives nicely on the road. You will not be able to drive it home though as it will lose power until you repair the issue. There is no issue in driving onto a shipping truck. There are small chips and scratches in the paint as should be expected but this is just a really cool car overall.
