This is a no-reserve auction, by a private owner, not a dealer. This Vanagon was purchased by my son (that's him in the photo), he wanted to fix it up & drive to California....but, it had some kind of engine problem, so that plan got put "on hold." The mechanic at my local garage (who goes by the nickname of "Wrench") said he could fix it up, but it was going to take some time, and some $$$, which my son did not have. So, the van is just sitting at Wrench's garage. Outside. He said it turned over, with the starter, but didn't want to start, he wasn't certain, but it might need some major engine work. Probably does, IMHO. The van is NOT in running condition. As we need to get it out of Wrench's way, I decided to put up the van for sale-- my son did in fact get married & moved to California, leaving his "dream van" here, in Indiana. The van will have to be towed or (more likely) loaded on a flatbed truck. Van is located in Tipton, Indiana, which is about 30 miles north of Indianapolis. There are two areas of surface rust I could find--noticethe two additional photos I just posted on this listing.
