These volvo wagons are getting harder and harder to find. This wagon runs great, it definitely has alot of life left in it. This car would be perfect for a winter car, second car, or just safe affordable transportation. Anyone who knows these old volvo's knows they run forever. I've had several of these volvo wagons, and they all had upwards of 300k miles on them and still ran great. This car will last a long while and will be a safe car to drive around in. If you need a parts car, this would be perfect for that too. You could take the parts you need and still get $400 just by scrapping the rest if your looking for parts. This car runs and drives great, straight and smooth even at 70+ m.p.h. highway speeds. It will need a front caliper, I believe the front driver side caliper is broken or loose. You can hear the caliper chattering while driving, and if you hit the brakes hard, the car shakes significantly. I've been driving the car in this state 50+ miles a day, but it's definitely not safe to drive everyday like that. It will also need a tire, there is signs of dry rot on one rear tire. The tire is holding air fine, but will need replaced. There is a full size tire in the spare compartment. Other than that, this car is good to go. All of the windows work, all the lights work and it has great heat. The sunroof works, but needs encouragement to close if opened all the way. The check engine light pops on and off once in a while, but they all do at this age. One wiper doesnt work, I'm not sure why. The body has a couple of dents on the driver door, also a small one on the roof. There is a little rust, and for some reason the front sheetmetal is rusted, see pic. The windshield has one crack, but its not in the drivers line of sight. The interior is tan leather with no tears or rips. It has heated seats, power windows and power mirrors. There is also an extra tailgate included in the sale, but the glass is no good. All in all, this is good beater car at an affordable price that will last for a long time, it's a volvo.
