Vehicle Detail

With 216000 Miles - this car runs like it did when it was new. This is an Arizona car - No Rust or corrosion! A solid car. This is the last chance to purchase this car. We have local buyers now considering. This 1983 Rx-7 is unique. It has over 216,000 miles on it and still runs like a top. Why? The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago by Skorch Motor Sports, Phoenix, Arizona and actually gets better mileage than it did when new. The car comes with a 10 disc Cd changer - with cassette player, seat covers and the glass moon roof insert. The paint job cost $3000 when new and is guaranteed to last longer than the car. It has a custom pin stripe. Tires are Yokohama S rated and are in great condition (0 percent remaining) Wheels were refurbished and refinished in 2002. Head lights are CB halogen. An electric radiator fan in addition to the normal mechanical one keeps this car cool! It comes with boxes of parts from the many RX-7's I have owned in the past - and I mean lots of parts! The car has all stock parts and is missing nothing. Car comes with a high quality car cover with locking cable. The antennae is electric and works as well as does down when the car is shut office which may explain why it has lasted so long. I have owned this car since 55K miles. Now for the problems. The Air Conditioning works, but the freon charge is low, so it will not turn the compressor on when you switch it on. The system has a slow leak (and didn't they all have those) and can be repaired by someone who knows their stuff. The other standing problem is the famous coolant leak under the oil filter. As is normal with this car - the seals for the oil cooler heat exchanger have never been very good and they need to be replaced. The leather seats are beginning to dry out and need to be repaired - but considering how old this car is and how long the seats have been around - their condition could be much worse. The left rear tail light has a small hole - but does not look very bad at all and is hard to notice.. I am NOT looking for a trade - cash only please. I want this car to go to a good home and be given the chance at lasting for many more years to come. If your that kind of car lover - then lets talk.
