Up for auction is this 1989 Countach. It is the testiment of five years work and fabrication and over 85 k in money. Alot of guys start with Fieros, but I wanted something special. After all what good is a beautiful car with a Fiero driveline and frame? This build started off with a Tubular Chasis with front and rear independent suspension, four wheel disk Corvette brakes, a Corvette drive-line including a 5.7 L LT1 Turbo Charged with a Garrett TOB3 which is inner cooled. There are twin radiators that a buddy who works on Indy cars built for me. The transmission is a auto four speed lock up. The body is the best fiberglass Countach I have seen, actually molded off a Countach, ONLY SEVEN MADE, reinforced with steel, all the panels have been mocked, fitted and primed in epoxy black. All of the trim parts, decals, rear lights, windshield, and wing are oem Lamborghini parts. Not cheap, price them. I think the wheels are oem with Perelli P7 tires. As you can see this is not a kit car. The interior is gray with Italian leather seats. The dash is full of VDO gauges. The car runs and drives but is not completely finished. My loss could be your gain. I would say the car is 95%. Here are the things that need to be finished. The interior needs carpet, door panels installed and seats bolted. The windshield and side glass need installed. The car needs to be painted your color, I recommend Lambo red. Struts need installed on the hoods. The two square vent on the rear need fabed, (they blew out when the car was trailored to my new home). Most of the bugs have been shook out, but there may be a few others. All of the pain staking work has been done and the car should be fun for someone to finish....I have everything to complete the build except paint, carpet and the two vents. The car will come with a bill of sale only, and it will be the responsibility of the buyer to title it (which is not a problem)....I'm sure there are things I have missed but feel free to ask questions...On Aug-25-10 at 17:19:20 PDT, seller added the following information: There are a few other things I have thought of since starting the auction.....The car drives nice, starts first turn , trans.has been rebuilt with top notch parts and a slight stall converter to over come turbo lag. the car has been carefully engineered not cobbled together. I had the computer custom built for this turbo V-8 application $2500.00 alone. The turbo sys . has a boost controller inside the car. There is fan built on the custom inner cooler that comes on at full boost to insure a cool charge with no detonation. The starter is gear reduced. The engine Had less than 3K when I installed. The doors have keyless entry. All the vent and ducts where engineered to function.The car will handle like a go cart.....The custom built exhaust sounds bad ass...I spared no money on this build.....It is trully unique and is not a kit. The Countach body has already withstood the test of time and will always be saught after...Be confident this car is what i say... You will be satisfied if you win the bid, Thanks
