Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup, with power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. Starts very easy even in the morning. Handles well even at 70mph. It has rust in the usual spots and has had some bondo over the years. The last owner has had this truck since 1980. He repainted it in the last 10 years and replaced the rocker panels, and the motor. The motor has chrome valve covers and the engine block has been painted. With some minor cleaning it could look great again. Tool Box not included in auction price From 1972chevy.com The 1972 Chevy pickup truck tends to be the favorite of the '67-'72 series of Chevrolet C/K trucks. Many enthusiasts would prefer to start with this platform for a restoration project because the '72 Chevy truck is the culmination of all of the best features from that era of Chevys. These pickups have only increased in popularity over the years and should be a favorite of Chevy pickup fans for many years. The 1972 Chevy truck has the basic body moldings and build of the 1967-1972 build of Chevy trucks. There are certainly some styling cues that are different from the 1967 Chevy truck models and the '72 models. Notably, there was a new grill that was introduced, the egg crate version for Chevrolet and the black paint styling on the GMC versions of these trucks. The 1972 version of Chevy trucks also include the Cheyenne (Sierra for GMC) model and accessories. This years model also includes many more comfort features that were not added on to previous years. These trucks also have AM/FM radios installed in them from the factory. Very cool! Light duty Chevy pickups from this year also include disc brakes rather than the high maintenance drum brakes from other years models. The 1972 Chevy truck is considered by many to be the best overall designed truck built to date. This truck is timeless and lasts for years with proper maintenance and care.On Aug-30-10 at 13:31:59 PDT, seller added the following information: This truck has a pretty good crack on the passenger side of the windshield.
