No Reserve! High Bidder Wins! You are looking at a Mercedes 300SDL Diesel Sedan. This is a very luxurious car with ample leg room in the back. Very roomy trunk as well, and built like a tank. Very safe car, and absolutely sails along smoothly on the highway. The engine is a strong runner, especially since we replaced the timing chain, vacuum pump, and injectors about 4 years ago. The transmission is rough getting into gear and is a bit too quick to shift to the upper gears, robbing the car of zipiness on side roads, but not an issue on the highway. The front end has some worn parts, and if we were keeping the car we'd replace them. It's very drivable as is, and very dependable. the sun roof works! The power windows on the drivers side work, The windows on the passenger side don't work. The AC doesn't cool. There are some dings and small rust spots on the doors (see pictures) The odometer quit at 185,000, estimated actual mileage is 187,000. We are the second owners, my wife used this as her daily driver until she bought a Prius. (I drove the 300DT wagon, which we also are selling) The seats are blue leather, and have some tears and marks, there are cracks on the top of the dashboard liner. Radio does not work, antenna does not go up and down. Cruise control does not work. There are separate keys for the doors and the ignition. The car can be picked up from us in Melville, NY. Payment is expected within 5 days of auction close. Car is sold AS IS, I have described the car to the best of my abilities, but if there's a question, please ask before bidding. I am not an expert on cars but I will try to answer questions about this car so you can have a good idea of the condition. I do have some service records/receipts.
