1968 FORD MUSTANG COUPE RESTORATION PROJECT CAR WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! Here is a perfect candidate for your Mustang muscle car restoration or father/son project. This is the second of 4 Mustangs I will be listing, these cars were traded to me as a partial trade for another car I had, I have a clean title and clean vehicle history on all of them. In my opinion this should be considered just a solid restoration or project car as it is non-running and obviously not a daily driver!! This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! This Mustang is in need of a complete restoration, please consider this when placing your bid. Cosmetically, this Ford is fairly straight, the only body work needed is on the edge of the hood, between the passenger fender and door and at the rear of the driver side rocker (see pics). As far as rust goes, upon inspection I have confirmed that there is significant rusting on the torque boxes and rails under the floorboards, so these will need replaced, a repair patch is not an option! (see pics). The front bumper, grill, radiator, hood vents, headlights and gas cap are missing. All glass is in good shape. It has 3 of the 4 matching aluminum wheels. The interior will obviously need the front seats, headliner and dash pad recovered. The back seat is in good shape, front seat frames and springs are excellent. All other interior is complete and intact. Mechanically, this Mustang is equipped with the factory 6 cylinder engine and stick shift transmission. The engine turns over fine and has compression, just does not fire. After checking it out, no spark is present, so it may need a coil or ? There is a brand new starter and solenoid installed. VIN- 8F01T135806 I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Mustang. I have placed the vehicle on non-op status with DMV, so no back fees are due. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base. I encourage personal inspections and am available Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm for personal viewing.
