This is the 2004 Triumph Speed Triple in Special Edition Jet Black (Special Edition came with painted wheels, frame, fly screen and seat cowl). There were only a few of these models made, not sure how many but I have never seen another one in real life, but saw 2 online (both were heavily modified, this bike is almost stock) I have owned the bike since August 2004, bought it from original owner 3 months after he purchased it. I have service records from local Triumph dealer - Capitol Area Triumph Best bike ever made (opinion), bad-ass looks, strong engine, unmistakable growl, and you will never meet another one like you on the road. (at least I have not). If you want to stand apart from the crowd and flex some "old-school-British-bike-muscle" this is it! I have babied this bike and am now parting with it to graduate to a cruiser so I may enjoy riding with my beautiful new bride! This is in great condition and has always been garage kept, there are some very minor scratches on the left mirror and left control lever from moving it about in the garage...ugh!!! But not noticable unless pointed out (could not get them to show up in a photo). Additions: HID headlights, K&N air filter, Triumph rear axel nut cover, NGK Iridium spark plugs (not installed yet) Bike has just been PA inspected for AUG-2010, worry-free for a whole year! The asking price has been reduced to move this bike!
