1972 BMW 3.0 Bavaria You are bidding on a 1972 Bavaria. This car has been in my familiy since 1975 and had been garaged most of its life until the last 10 years. Mechanically this car is sound, the in-line six purs and starts every time. The brakes are fairly new, all reciepts and manuals included with purchase. The car is located in Falls Church, VA and is available for local pickup. Shipping it anywhere else or driving it home is an option as well. The car has some rust on it as visible by the photos and the only sigificant damage to the vehicle is on the passenger side rear door where a deer was struck several years ago. The car is well equipped, does not overheat, does NOT smoke and all gauges inside the car work accurately. In addition, the full set of BMW tools that are original to the car are included and complete. The vehicle has an in-line 6 with 2 downdraft weber carbs and fully functional electric chokes for cold starts that have been tuned recently and work great. An electronic ignition was installed professionally on the vehicle as well so no need to worry about adjusting the points set every so often.
