1968 Volkswagen Beetle Type 1, Auto-stick transmission,1600c engine from a 1973 Super Beetle. Complete engine. I bought this car in January of this year from original owner. This car turned over and idled up until 3 months ago. It needs a ignition cylinder installed to start and run. I have one with a new key but don't have the time to install it. The body of the car is complete and comes with all parts. The only heavy rust on this car is on the front and rear windshield frames. I took the front and rear glass out to try and fix this but never got around to it. I do have the glass though. The floors were replaced by the original owner and appear to be in good shape as well as the heater channel which is good for the new buyer. This car is definitely a project car but for someone who knows what there doing it can be an easy and cost effective fix. The tires are brand new, never used. I am selling this car as is, must be towed away at your expense from my driveway. I took off the fenders to see what it would look like without them. I have all 4 fenders, just need to be put back on. I also have some extra parts I will throw in. I had a lot of good intentions with this car when I bought her but limited time and other projects are forcing me to sell her. I hope she finds a good home with someone willing to spend the time on her so she can be put back on the road where she belongs. The interior of this car is in good condition, seats have minor tears, dash is near mint condition as well as steering wheel.
