1997 F150 XLT 4X4 1997 F150 Extended Cab Truck. 4.6 L Engine, Auto Transmission, 4WD. 180, 461 miles. Power Window, Locks, and Mirrors. Cruise control, 4WD, and Air Conditioning all work. Black exterior with Gray interior. Interior is excellent condition. No tears in the seats and No cracks in the dash. Rear sliding glass with access to the back. Three door witht he back door on the passenger side. Both rear glass open as well as rear side glass on the topper. Rear tires are brand new. Vehicle oil and radiator were serviced and has less than 20 miles since. New battery however it has been sitting for 8 months. Chrome front and rear bumpers. Now for the bad - The engine has a blown head gasket. I would suggest a total rebuild on the engine with the mileage on it. The vehicle does not run, so it will need to be trailored. That's about it. Typical rust for a 13 year old truck from Minnesota salt country. Rear tailgate bottom edge just starting to show. Bottom edge of drivers and passenger doors on the inside. Another winter and it will probably start showing on the outside unless someone touches it up. The rockers have rusted through in one area. I have patched it but not finished the patch job. The rear quarters of the box are starting to rust through. All the rust is minor and can easily be repaired without panel replacement. This would make an excellet truck for any use. I love the truck and have owned it and drived it since 2000. It had 70,000 miles on it when I bought it. I want to keep it and fix it up for myself again one day, but I have too many projects going on and very little storage. So I had to make the decision to sale.
