Up for a NO Reserve Auction is my 1972 Volkswagen Beetle Std. The car runs just fine. Starts right up even on a Cold winter night. I bought her in August 2005 & has been with me every since. Engine is in a very good shape. Has a new Flame Thrower 40,000 volts ignition coil. New plugs (Bosch Platinium) & wire set. New Bosch Electronic Distributor for a smooth running. New brakes (Bosch) and Drums. New Die Hard Battery. Newer Karmann Gia front Axle was also installed to get the car at the correct level. I still have the old axle which has extended shocks & looked a little raised in the front. Also has a Rain shield on the rear Engine door for protection. New oil pump was also installed however there was no need for it as the old one was working just fine. The car runs straight & stops straight. Cruises 65 mph on the Interstate without problem. The car also comes with extra chrome accents like the Eye brows, rainguard, chrome rear Engine grilles & new running Board. Also New Seat covers are installed over the original seat. Also has a New Bamboo tray shelf. She is very pleasing to look at. The car is currently Historic, with QQ plates which exempt her from State Inspections & has a Historic Title with one time registration fees. Insurance runs me $100/year!!! -The car does not have floor pans - The Driver's side rear muffler has a hole in it so makes a sound like a sports car. This is a NO RESERVE Auction. So I had them removed. I've placed an inch thick plywood, which is basically a temporary fix........but it has worked for me so far. The heater channels are present & working. There is rust on all replaceable parts. Therefore bidders please take a note: Only bid if you are ready to do or get some body work done on this car. Please do not complain afterwards.
