Well here it is a 1987 TOYOTA land cruiser unmolested -original paint great shape.Starts everytime I bought this truck in Ga about 6 or 7 years back with no rust a nice southern car and believe me this one is a true survivor.I have had the transfer case rebuilt when I first brought it back from Ga. the oil was low in it and i didnt want to take no chances .When I bought it had about 130000 miles on it and I have used it as a second car and for camping and family outings.I did regular mantinece brakes,oil,tune-ups and it has never let me down not once.I intended for my daughter to use this for her first car but you know how teen-agers are she dosnt like it.I love this truck and hate to sell it but I have to many cars .This truck would make a good father son project for his first car,dont get me wrong its turn key and drive away right now ,Ice-cold a/c,and everything works as it should but with a little tlc you could realy make this into something.I moved it from Ga. to chicagoland and every year in spring power washed and gave the frame a coat of oil based rust paint to keep it fresh. There is no bondo on this car all metal.. everthing works down to the spare tire hoist and has the orginal tool bag and jack.I will have to look around but somewhere I have the origanal Jap paperwork from the factory.This is a great truck and would make a fine 1st car for a young man surround your kids in steel and lets face it- these trucks are not known for there speed its there toughness and thats what they need a tough truck going slowly around town.Buy your kid a Land Cruiser you might find you will be borrowing his keys you really get the looks driving this car around here they all rusted away but not this one The bad ok well there is a small crack in the windsheild about 3 inches long from a rock hit i had it repaired but it didnt take-it does have a small exhaust leak somewhere up front-I guess that could get fixed if you put a nice header and a weber carb on this truck and gain a whole lot of performace doin so or let it leak for another year its not to bad-it does have a few small in perfections here and there but for a truck as old as this it is in great shape {did I say that already}there is a tear in the drivers seat other than that I cant think of a thing.wait it is missing the chrome trim on drivers side rocker a car wash ate it was i pissed but as you can see in the pics not rusted out nylon tabs still there just need to get a new peice and snap it on no rust on these rockers! I dont have any of the receipts for the work that was done I didnt think I would ever sell it but it did have the transfercase professionaly rebuilt and checked out the four speed,I had a new cluth kit iincluding pressure plate disc bearing,and of course rear main seal New front calipers,stanless high flow muffler from Fair muffler in laGrange and put the bull bar on it all said -I have been very happy with this truck and I am sure you will be to! o yes and a brand new battery from sears and a new starter did I mention the ICE_COLD A/C better than in my suburban also it has a pioneer new radio cd mp3 player also I am selling it localy and reserve the right to end auction at anytime so if i dont see some bidding action it might come off the bidding block no warranty as-is where is and if it takes you a little longer to come with cash ok 3 days might not work for full payment On Aug-14-10 at 10:48:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have some other cruiser items for sale like a yakuma roof rack with bike racks a few service manuals use wwith or without bike racks just 2 bars to put whatever on car top carrier big wire basket ,canoe,rowboat ,skis and that sort of stuff also have a reciever tow hitch 2" that is for this truck that I dont want to have to box and mail so if your buying the truck bid on the hitch and roof rack stuff to I will wave all shipping and hey ur going to want that stuff also I will be taking more pictures of the back side of the rockers all door jams and wheel wells so you can see that it is not rusted out and fixed with sheet metal and bondo all the origanal metal is there .I will get a photo bucket going this weekend On Aug-20-10 at 19:39:46 PDT, seller added the following information: well I am going to have to tell ya I thought I would have seen a little more exicitement on this fine cruiser!
