These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Good luck to all.***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING COMPETITION YELLOW 1965 FORD MUSTANG WITH UPGRADED SHELBY GT 350 PACKAGE!!!. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory options: Manual Steering Manual Brakes Standard bucket seat interior Dual exhaust Front spoiler Automatic transmission 289ci hi-po motor (former 200hp "C" code motor with upgrades to about 270hp!) Magnum 500 wheels w/white letter radials UPGRADED SHELBY GT 350 PACKAGE (side scoops, hood scoop, stripes, spoiler, emblems, gas cap, etc) Vehicle comes from Ohio, and is now in NY in my garage for the last few months. This is an older restoration on a pretty solid and straight 65 Mustang. The previous owner repainted the car sometime around the mid-late 1990s. I had my shop completely wetsand the car and professionally buff it, and now it looks great for a driver. We also put a used set of magnum 500 wheels with BFG tires, added the Shelby GT 350 package, reupholstered the front seats, new door panels/armrests, kick panels, and dressed up the engine with export brace, monte carlo bar, valve covers, air cleaner etc. Mechanically the car runs/drives very well and sounds awesome with the dual Flowmaster style exhaust. This is a nearly TURN-KEY driver that you can get in and enjoy now with very minor tlc! Under the hood, the stock "C" code 200hp 289 motor has been beefed up with 4bbl. aluminum intake, 4bbl. Edelbrock carburetor, Hi-Po performance camshaft, full headers into dual performance exhaust and some minor internal upgrades such as a 0.030 block overbore to name a few. I took the valve covers off and it was very clean under there. Right now it should be pushing close to 270hp the way it's set up. Transmission is an automatic C4 replacing the former 4 speed (I have the 4spd tranny, bellhousing, shifter, etc. at an extra price if buyer chooses to buy it along with the car and put it back in) Interior is in FAIR/GOOD shape. Seats are nice with the front ones freshly redone (frames were slightly different so these are a bit more supportive). Door panels are newer but plain looking without pattern. Carpet is older and faded but presentable. Dash pad in good shape. Headliner has some tears and should be replaced. Overall a fairly presentable driver quality interior! Mechanically, the car drives pretty well. I've mostly driven it around town and a few times on the highway and it performs very nicely. Always starts at the turn of the key, gets decent gas mileage if you drive it normally, and is pretty easy to drive. Brakes stop well. Transmission shifts great with no issues and rear end is nice and tight without any noises. Being a 40+ year old car, it is NOT perfect my any means. Paint shines up fairly well for a driver, with general small imperfections from driving as you would expect. Chips/small scratches/tiny dings and other imperfections from road use, along with some small cracks in paint here and there. Some plastic by lower fenders, door corners and rocker panels but shows fairly well. Looks great from 10 ft away. Windshield has crack down the middle, needs replacing. Underside has decent floorboards that have previously had some patch work but are pretty solid right now. Frame rails seem in good shape front and back. Trunk has had some patching by inner wheelhouse bases on both sides. Torque boxes were smoothed out. Good shock towers. Missing: spare, radio. Left door hinge could use replacing. Carburetor could use minor adjusting, starts acting up a bit when engine is hot. That's about all I was able to notice. IT'S A VERY NICE CAR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DRIVE IT AS IS OR DO MINOR TLC TO BRING IT UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GREAT CAR IN THIS 1965 FORD MUSTANG WITH UPGRADED SHELBY GT 350 PACKAGE AND STRONG RUNNING 289 "HI-PO" THAT CAN EASILY BE A TURN-KEY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC!.
