This VW Jetta diesel is a 1985 with the 1.6 ci motor with approx. 80,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. The clutch and input shaft seals were also replaced. New German c/v joints were installed also. I have owned this car for 14 years and was a VW mechanic. I am tired of shifting. The tires are Michelin with 8,000 miles. Brakes are at least 1/2 plus. Calipers and hoses replaced at least twice. Air conditioning is all original and cold. All wheel bearings are good. Body is decent, paint fair, interior is worn but decent. Heater core and blower was replaced 4 years ago. All guages work , windows, door locks, all lights, radio, ect. I average 50 plus mpg. The injector pump was resealed when the motor was bored with new German pistons, all bearings, oil pump and a new cylinder head. The alternator is the 100 amp Gm CS unit which is far better than the German unit. I will not ship the car. Must be picked up in Greeneville Tennessee.
