You are looking at a 1965 Chevy Nova 4 door. This car would be ideal for restoring because of the minimum rust and dings. The car was purchased by my father in 2004 before he passed away. I do not know the history of the car prior to his purchase. It was used as a daily driver since then but has recently been parked for a few months. It does start and runs good. The motor is a straight six and all original. The odometer reads 35, 457. We drove the car about 40 miles last month and it did not smoke and handled pretty good for a 45 year old car although the front end seemed a little loose. The body of the car is in good shape but there are a couple dents and a little rust on the quarter panels but the rocker panels are in good shape. I believe all of the chrome is in place but a couple of pieces might need to be replaced. The interior has been reupholstered but the front seat on the driver's side has a burn in it- you can see it in the pictures. All of the windows are in good shape as well as the mirrors. The windows roll down good as well. I am not responsible for shipping. You will need to arrange for pick up or shipping on your own. The car is 45 years old and is a classic. In my opinion, it is in good condition but please ask any questions prior to bidding. You may inspect it in person as well. There are no written or implied warranties on the car. If you do not intend to buy the car- please do not bid. A $500 deposit will be required immediately following the end of the auction and the remainder of the amount will need to be paid in full within 7 days before title will be turned over. The title is a clear Oklahoma title and is currently tagged until October of 2010. On Jul-30-10 at 09:03:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I have no idea or no way of knowing the exact mileage- it doesn't show the hundred's place on the old cars and it doesn't say on the title. It could be 34k or 134k??? I have no idea of the mileage history. So, adding this to the description may or may not be helpful information to you, but at least I wanted to make sure it was corrected. I didn't realize how dirty it was until I had already posted the auction. It will clean up very nicely and I'm sure a good detail job would make it look great! Lastly, I wanted to mention that the car title has my mom's name on it as well as my deceased father and there will be no problems with getting it signed over to the new owner(no probate issues or anything like that). I am selling this car for her.
