NO RESERVE!!! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY UPDATE! I Charged the battery for a few days and got the truck started by pouring fuel into the carb. It actually started fairly easy and I ran it with a squirt bottle for a few seconds. It sounds like it needs a starter or flexplate as it grinds a bit. The truck will run but is not drivable as the gas tank will need cleaning, tune up, etc. I also checked the winch and it is working too. The stereo is working also. Don't know if the AC works as I didn't run it long enough to try it. Fuel gauge is stuck past full and no fuel was coming up front. So it either needs a fuel pump or the line is clogged from sitting. Original listing below 1986 Chevrolet C30 454 3spd Automatic 1 Ton Quad Cab Car Hauler Truck. This Chevy car hauler is equipped to haul 6000 lbs on the bed and tow up to 12000 lbs at the same time. It was used by my father to haul his antique cars from time to time. It was not used commercially, even though it was put in his business name for tax reasons. It has been sitting since 2004 as far as I know. It is not running and I have not tried to start it. It shows 75K on the odometer. He bought the truck in 1995. It has minimal rust and 3/4 qtr,s of the steel on the bed was replaced in 2006. The front bumper is near perfect, int is nice except the dash has cracks from sitting in the FL sun for the last 6 years. Has a AM FM CD player with a 6 speaker system and CB. Truck comes with a clear OH title. Like I said it is not running and I have no idea what is wrong with it. It could be something minor or need something major. He just said it needed work, and that is all I know. It will have to be towed. If it were running I would be asking more. Needs a paint job also. This truck will make someone one hell of a car hauler. Has four storage boxes in the bed and a pwr inverter, and winch. $500.00 deposit due within 24 hrs. On Aug-25-10 at 17:20:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked about the tires on this truck, they have about 80% tread left and look to be in good shape with no signs of rot. Length of bed is 18ft 10in's. My mother told me today that my father replaced the front and rear brakes in 2004 before their trip to FL. Also said the u joints were replaced, or as she said the drive sockets! LOL I knew what she meant though when I explained it to her. There is also a tool box inside the storage bin with ball joints and other front end parts that are new in the box. I don't know if he was carrying these just in case or that he intended to replace them. When I drove the truck in 2003 it seemed fine to me, and drove great! However these parts are included with the truck.
