1976 Mustang II Bracket Racer. Bought this car this spring with thoughts of racing alot this summer, then changed jobs and have no time, so here you go. I did not build this car or buy it from the guy that built it, but will tell you what I know. Someone has spent alot of time and money on the car, I would estimate around $20,000+. The engine is a 351W block. Aluminum rockers ( noticed when I changed the oil). Edlebrock high rise aluminum intake, Torker 2 I think. fuel pressure regulator, Big Holley 4 bbl. headers. aluminum valve covers. braided steel fuel lines completely ran. High volume electric fuel pump. MSD coil and ignition box ( 6 AL i think). Overhead toggle box for ignition, fuel pump, electric fan, ect. 13mm plug wires, taylors i think. line lock. two new Mickey Thompson Slicks, maybe 4 passes on them. 9" Ford rearend w/4.56 gears, racing seat with 5 pt harness. lexan windows, front and sides. Big Mallory tach with shift light. Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. Battery in the rear of the car with disconnect and charging terminals on the back. Aluminum rear racing wing. Harwood hood scoop. That's all I can think of at the moment. Car weighs less than 2500 pounds. Runs in the 7's on pump gas. This car is not street legal as it is, no headlights or wipers.
