This car is a pristine low mileage example of Porsche’s classic 911 targa. If you know Porsches, you already know that the 911 targa is the best of both worlds. It offers the safety and security of a coupe and the open top experience of a cabriolet. Of course a classic isn’t a classic unless it’s in the right color. This car is finished in desirable Guards Red with a black leather interior. For being 28 years old, this car shows very minimal signs of wear and can be considered to be in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically. It has been preserved and loved by its previous two owners and myself. I have detailed maintenance records from 1993 to present to validate the care and maintenance this car has received. No expense has been spared in the upkeep of this fine automobile. Now, after down sizing from a four-car garage, to a two-car garage, and now to a one-car garage, combined with other interests including a restored 1958 Willys Pickup Truck that is nearing completion, I have made the difficult decision to sell. The previous owner purchased this car from Holt Motorsports, a well-regarded facility specializing in the sale of future classics. This car has never been in an accident as far as anyone can tell and the only paintwork is on the nose to eliminate stone chips at 70k miles, as reported by the previous owner. The car received a complete 90k service that was performed including a valve adjustment, at which time a compression test was performed and 150 psi was reported in all cylinders. An extensive service was performed last spring by Dougherty Automotive in West Chester, PA including A/C service, new SSI Heat Exchangers, Heater Boxes and Stainless Steel Exhaust. The car will be available for inspection in person at its current location in zip code 19803. I have scanned all of the service records and will email them to serious buyers upon request. The car is currently licensed, registered in PA and will be sold with a clean PA Title that is in my name.
