Up for auction is a 1968 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible, low milage car, with the factory 140 HP engine and automatic transmission. This car is a diamond in the rough, and was going to be a restoration project of mine, but I truly have way to many projects and the car has sat sinse I aquired it ten years ago. The car has all of the typical Corvair rust issues, but a car definately worth restoring. This is a California car that has not been driven sinse 1972! It is an original unmolested convertible in need of a complete restoration - I would say that it is 90% ish complete with very few missing pieces. This car could be a very cool Corvair with the rare facroty 140HP option and the very cool 1968 interior styling. Winning bidder will be responsible to ship car. Needless to say the car is being sold as is.
