This truck is being re-listed due to a bounced check from someone I sold this to locally. This truck was originally listed incorrectly as having a salvage title and was priced as such. It does not; it has a clear title (that's what you get for having a friend list your stuff for you). This is a good solid truck, great to take to the mountains. It has an 8cyl 350 (5.7l) engine with just under 143,000 miles on it, which for a 17 year old truck is pretty low. Four wheel drive works well and there are no leaks on any of the axles, and the manual transmission shifts smoothly. The clutch was replaced at about 100,000 miles. The tires have about 30% tread left. All brakes and power steering work well. It had a radiator flush at the end of last year. The maintenance on this truck has been on or before scheduled mileage and originally came from Palm Springs, California, owned by an older gentleman who used it for highway driving. I am the third owner and it has been well taken care of. It has a bumper-pull hitch that I installed but the truck has barely been used to haul anything (a two horse trailer once or twice a year). It has an aftermarket brake controller which is hooked to a 6pt round plug socket. The doors are still hanging good, which is rare for these trucks since they are so heavy. The windshield does have a crack in it, the paint on the passenger door is faded and there is minor dent in the side of the bed which could easily be pounded out.. Cruise control works, as does the AC but it needs to be charged. Exterior tool box will come with the vehicle as will tire chains. The interior is pretty clean, never been smoked in, no cracks in the dash. There is a tear in the driver's seat, similar to what you see in most vehicles this old. The floor is vinyl and has one tiny tear that you can't really see up in the foot-well of the driver's side, near the fuse panel. Windows roll up and down just fine (manual not electric). After market Sony CD/MP3/satellite radio with remote control, and CB Radio (needs wiring to antenna). It has been a great truck and I am sad to have to part with it, but I just bought a diesel to haul a goose neck trailer (would trade if you have one). Make me an offer!
