This auction is for my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado. 5.2l V8 engine Full time 4X4. Automatic transmission. Power windows, locks and seats. Also has a remote start in it but I'm not sure it works anymore. I bought this Jeep around 1996. I drove it untill a few years ago, it has been a great vehicle. I bought a newer Jeep and kept this as a spare. I loaned it out to my girlfriends kid and he drove it until the left rear tire fell off, the left rear axle broke at the backing plate. It has been sitting for 2 years since this happened. I also put in a remanufactuered engine at 155,000 miles, the car has 183,000 on it now so around 30,000 on this engine. I can start it by dumping gas in the throttle body, but it won't run on the gas in the tank (maybe needs a fuel pump.) The motor is great, it was rebuilt by General Motors. Yes GM rebuilds Chrysler engines. The tranny was also replace at around 75,000 miles, that was also good when it was parked. I worked at a Jeep dealer when I bought this so I had it undercoated, no rust under the car. The drivers door hinges need to be replaced. The gas cap is missing and the door won't stay closed. The right rear window motor came off the glass, so you can lower it but raising it is difficult. The radio is not included but the original harness is complete and has never been cut. I am sure it needs more repairs but I can't drive it so selling as is. The paperwork is in hand. It will need to be towed away due to the left rear tire missing and not starting. The original tire is gone but there it a full size spare in the back. ( I am not sure if the spare is the same rim size or smaller). The rims are off a 1997 Grand Cherokee. With a little hard work this could be a great Jeep for someone. The interior is overall good condition but needs a good cleaning. The interior smells from being parked for such a long time.
