1971 Dodge step-side pick-up. Originally a slant-six, column shift manual. No engine or trans now. 8¾ open rear. This truck was originally a US Department of Interior Soil Conservation Service vehicle based somewhere in Texas. Lettering on the doors is too faint to read in the pix, very hard to read in person, but if you squint just right and the light is just so it is still possible to make out most of it. The body is in decent shape for the age, rust in the usual places and the wood bed is completely gone. A lot of surface rust. The truck sports its original blue-gray DoI paint. A set of what I am guessing are V-8 springs go with if the buyer wants them. They are moderately rusty, not sure if they are usable. Also have a steering column for an auto trans that goes but I cannot find the linkages. If they turn up before the truck ships out I will include them. The 16” factory wheels are rough. I have had the truck for several years but am finally admitting to myself that I will not be able to do anything with it and maybe someone else can.
