Vehicle Detail
A fast, light E36 model with low miles! A well-loved, low miles, garage kept black bimmer. Safe, Reliable, Fast, and good on gas. Nearest thing to an m3 for half the money. Carcheck reports an odometer issue, but I have no reason to believe the cluster, and mileage are not accurate. It looks to me like an clerical typo error was made in registering the car confusing between 71k miles, and 77k miles... This is a beautiful car that still turns heads wherever it goes. I bought it for my wife to drive as a summer car, but we have lost our storage to a recent fire. Rather than let it get ruined in the NH winter weather, we have decided to let it go to a home that can do it justice. It is in a garage now, but I can't keep it there long...No reasonable offers refused. This car design is one of those rare convertibles that actually FITS 4 real sized people. A great ride for four with the top up or down, and a sizable trunk with enough space for luggage and gear. This is RARE in a convertible and one of the reasons we chose this model. This 1994 325ic 5 speed manual with some nice upgrades, including an all aluminum custom Godspeed racing radiator with silicone samco race hoses in red. The car has really bright HID headlight upgrades and factory glass fogs lights with 1 crack, so it has french yellow film on them to keep water out. I have the original headlights and air intake if you want to go back to stock stuff. The car has red calipers, racing dynamics badge roundels, a strut bar, and high flow filter and intake. The car came from the factory with heated leather electric sport seats in decent shape - originally tan, recently been redyed a "nutmeg" color like that found in the newer m3. The trunk is empty and clean, and the engine bay and interior are clean and well kept, especially for a 16 year old car. This car has an expensive burlwood shift knob, a new battery, and includes 2 sets of wheels and tires. Shown on the car is a RARE (really rare) set of 17" factory lightweight motorsport m3 alloys with high performance sticky summer sonar rubber. The other set is the factory original bbs alloy at 15" with good arctic claw rubber if you ever need it on a winter day. All 4 windows can be operated by one button. Top is manual, and in fair/decent shape, but has a couple of small repairs to the stitching, rear window is getting a little cloudy. Paint is a 6 or a 7/10, looks to be original "schwarzblack", but has general nicks and dings over the whole car...it still shines up nice and looks nice from 15 feet, but I think it could use paint attention soon. All the lights and gauges and airbags work and should pass inspection with flying colors- come see it for yourself and take a test drive...first to drive it will buy it. Things to consider... I no longer have the factory coupe door panels. They kept falling apart, a common problem with this era bmw. They are quite hard to find, and expensive to get if you can find them, so after replacing them twice, I decided to fit the car with these race inspired brushed aluminum panels. They work nicely, have gotten a number of compliments, and should last forever. They are easy to remove if you wanted to do work in the doors and will not wreck the factory holes if you did replace them with a factory set. The car needs general love like any 16 year old ride would - It has a couple of bubbles in the paint, but no visible rust spots of any concern. It will need brake pads and rotors soon, which I have purchased (see pics) and will include. They include high quality drilled vented rotors, non-metallic pads, and new sensors. The radio is old, and I haven't gotten around to replacing it - I've been putting the money into performance...so the speakers, antenna, and head unit/cd changer are possibly salvageable, but I say save your money and pull the whole works out - put in a stereo of your chosen configuration from scratch. It will likely be less expensive that trying to replace the now ancient and expensive factory stuff from the 90's. Car is located in Whitefield, NH, and is also for sale locally. Some possible exchanges considered. Deposit of $500 required at auction close, balance by cash or bank check within 5 days. Car is being sold as-is, where-is, and it is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for transport of car and or any inspection arrangements or fees. Good luck, and happy bidding!
