Vehicle Detail
This lady is a perfect car for someone who has always wanted a Rolls but felt they could never afford one and the reserve is set accordingly. The traditional problems with these older cars is the steering rack leaks and the hydraulic system is fouled and the brake and suspension spheres no longer hold pressure. These things have been dealt with and this is a car ready to give years of pleasure. The engine starts quickly and runs smoothly. It uses roughly one quart of oil per 3000 miles....just in time for an oil change. The transmission shifts smoothly with no hesitation and no leaks. The AC system works perfectly as do the windows, mirrors, radio/cd player and seats. The body is rust free and the paint is near perfect. Re the carfax report, I went over this car with a fine tooth comb looking for storm/water damage when I bought it and found none. If a successful buyer find any, I will refund the deposit and pay your way home. The accident involved the left front fender and was repaired by a Rolls Royce body shop. I have a clear title. The leather seating is flawless and there is still a slight aroma of leather as you get into the car. The car has a factory installed car phone which is not in service. Just passed the state of Maine motor vehicle inspection with flying colors. The car spent it's early years in the south and for the past 4 years has been based in my heated garage and never driven in the winter. New battery New steering rack New brake and suspension spheres Brake hydraulic system flushed Matching set of Goodyear Eagle tires with less than 5000 miles No curb rash on wheel covers Is it a perfect car? Of course not. There are some minor dimples and scratches on the back bumper. See photo. There is a small spot of damage to the leather on the dash due to the plastic defroster vent distortion. See photo. There is a small area, about the size of a 1/2 dollar on both rear quarter panels of hairline crazing in the paint. See photo. There is a very small chip in the windshield which has been sealed. NB, the club medallions on the front bumper are not included. Kittery Point, ME is roughly 60 miles north of Boston and I would be glad to pick up a winning bidder at Logan Airport.
