1952 M38 Willys Jeep - A veteran of the Korean war! This wonderful M38 was restored over a period of two years from the ground up, every bolt, nut, and body part carefully removed, cleaned, sandblasted, primed and repainted. The engine has been completely rebuilt and runs very smoothly. Over 85% of the parts used to restore are new old original parts costing over 12,000 Cdn gathered from swap meets, other M38 owners, and on line. The rebuilt engine has approx 300km and has just completed the break in period. The M38 has been converted to run on 12 Volts but comes with parts to convert to 24 Volts. The shovel, axe, and jerry can are 1952 original as well. It also comes with 4 additional tires in very good condition. My M38 has only been taken out in winter one time and that was to take photos for the insurance file. Careful attention to detail has been taken during the restoration work, even the paint was specially ordered to match the exact colour from the Korean War. It has passed all safety tests and is plated for driving on all roads in Canada. Additional information is available on demand via email. This is a rare piece of military history in excellent running condition was purchased in the US by a good friend who like myself are members of the Canadian Army, he is an avid collector of military vehicles and weapons. The good Captain sold me one of four he had left and together with his in depth knowlege on restoring 6 in total over 25 years and my desire to learn we completed this project. The M38 is located in Kingston Ontario Canada. Prepared to make necessary arrangements with a buyer to ship at buyers expense to their location but all transactions must be prepaid by the buyer. I will assist the buyer with the shipping arrangements if necessary but only once I have received payment through Paypal. I do not want to be involved with having to pay an overseas shipping agent , these shipping agent fees are the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements. I will accept both US and Cdn currency, if picking up the vehicle in person and paying in cash but the money must be deposited in my account by the buyer at my bank. Paypal is the best way to go.
