Up for auction is my little black E30 318is. The poor man's M3, there really isn't a more fun car for the money. This is the last year they made the E30, and this one is a pretty good example of the car. Charcoal on Black it has the five speed and sport interior. It spent some time in NY and the northeast and has a the undercarriage rust to prove it, as well as the rusted under bumper that is common to this model - nothing that a little black gorilla tape hasn't been able to cover on the bumper. I've been driving this car everyday since finding it on ebay and acquiring it from a seller in Colorado. That wasn't the most pleasant transaction, but it ultimately ended in a great little car. Title is bonded in my name. Only have records since Feb of 2009 (which includes full engine swap and modifications by a fantastic atlanta porsche/bmw shop that maintains my '85 911). What I can tell you about the 318 is that it has a swapped M42 4 cylinder engine (the original was frozen when i got this car - the miles are reflective of chassis), M20 conversion lightweight flywheel, bimmerworld chip, and supersprint exhaust. Good Bilstein shocks and tires are Falkens with decent tread left and the transmission is still smooth. The A/C blows cold, and I live in Atlanta which after this summer is saying a lot. Tried to take a good complement of pictures. Only one crack in dash, and one slight tear in drivers seat (you should be able to see those). The car is not perfect, but runs great, shines up really nice, and has a super clean interior. That pretty much covers the modifications and car. My mind slipped when I note that it does not. The silver one in Arizona threw me and I don't know what I was saying. The sunroof works fine, and there are no leaks from it.
