1978 Ford F-250 4x4: Truck is in great shape for its age. Has a 351M 5.8L V8 and a 3-speed auto trans. Runs and drives great, 124,900 miles. Comes with the following: -Warn Winch w/ remote -Trailer Brake System -Receiver Hitch -Locking Hood -Factory A/C -Cruise Control -Reverse Beeper -New Tires -Cab Lights -Fog Lights -Running Boards -Seat Cover -Aftermarket Stereo -Dual Fuel Tanks Truck is originally from WA state. Has only had 4500 miles put on it since 2003. Recently had carb cleaned and adjusted, new alternator, new power brake booster, and thermostat. Truck is missing original tailgate but I do have a new aftermaket tailgate that just needs to be assembled and painted. Other parts to include are a new primed door and front fenders along with some misc parts. Truck is missing the 'F' and the 'O' on the hood but I will include a new letter set that I have purchased, just needs to be put on. Very minor rust on the body, some on the bottom of the door and in a couple spots around the bed, nothing that is all the way through, just surface rust. The wheel wells, cab corners and floor are rust free. The frame is straight and as far as I know has not been in any sort of accident. According to the person I bought it from, the truck was used to haul wood and the engine was rebuilt in 2000-2001 however he wasn't able to provide receipts, engine does run strong though. The 4x4 works great, both high and low. Steering and front end is nice and tight. The engine does have a very slow oil leak (probably because it sat for quite some time) somewhere however I have never needed to add oil between changes. The paint isn't original, I can see blue underneath the green under the hood and in the door jambs in some small spots. I purchased the truck in Oct 09 and the only thing I have pulled with it is my 16ft boat. The truck wasn't beat on and was only used to go from here to there every once in a while. I'm selling it due to the fact that I may be moving soon and that it's pointless to have a truck like this sitting around not being used as much as it should, it has a lot of life left in it. I don't know much about restoration but I don't think it would take much to restore this one!
