Up for auction today is my 1997 Expedition Eddie Bauer. This is a really nice truck and has served us well for the past year and a half. According to the history report I am the 4th owner and I do have a clear title in my name. Only reason for selling is I bought another big truck and no longer need this one. The front and rear a/c blows cold, and also has an overhead console with front and rear heat and a/c controls. This Expedition is equipped with the 5.4 engine, and the tow package with 3.73 gears and auxiliary transmission cooler. This truck has the third row seat and it is removable. The truck has had some recent work including a new pitman arm, new front steering stabilizer, new parking brake shoes, all the brakes were done shortly after I bought the truck. I installed 1.5" steel spring spacers in the rear to pick the rear of the truck up a bit and cranked up the front torsion bars to level it out. This Expedition does not sag in the rear like most of them do. The air and fuel filters were just replaced and the truck is getting new lower ball joints this week. The transmission was either rebuilt or replaced roughly 25000 miles ago, according to the previous owner. I cannot document this but the trans does shift perfectly and the fluid is clean. The tires are slightly oversized Goodyear Wranglers, size 275/70/17. They are worn but should easily get you thru another year. The front windows are tinted 20% and there are tweeters mounted high up in the front doors, which sound great with the factory Mach audio system. The interior is in nice shape, the drivers seat does show some wear as you can see in the pictures. The exterior is in nice shape, there is one crease going from the left front to the left rear doors, and the paint was scratched and touched up in this spot. It's not that noticeable. There is no rust anywhere to speak of. I also installed a 5000k HID headlight kit. Needs Nothing, drive it home! I absolutely would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere! A $200 paypal deposit is requested at the end of the auction unless other arrangements have been made. Delivery is available within a reasonable distance for the cost of fuel, and of course you are free to come inspect the truck if you would like, I am located in Southbury CT, about 5 minutes off I-84 exit 14.
