1978 Ford Econoline Custom Leisure Van – 460 engine This engine is a great engine for those looking to drop it in another vehicle!!This van is a classic - Right down to the shag carpeting! Van has 2-bucket swivel seats in front and bench seat in rear that makes into a double bed. It has a removable table as well as a ice box, closet, storage cupboard, small sink and Porta potty. The interior is in very good shape with shag (yes, we said shag) blue 3" padded carpeting. It is equipped with curtains for privacy. There has only minor rust as it has always been stored inside a garage and not seen winter weather. It has been in storage since 1993. does need "some" bodywork over wheel-wells. It has duel gas tanks. The engine turns over but is in need of a new battery. We believe it also will need new tires all the way around. The engine is a 460cc V8 with 117,012 miles. Maintenance was always up to date with oil changes etc. This was a family vacation vehicle and most of the mileage is long distance over the road miles. We hate to sell it as there are so many memories but we are now retired, children grown and we now no longer "camp".
