RE-LIST WITH LOWER RESERVE . Interior, t-tops and wheels will almost cover reserve if you part out. Last chance before it goes to tear down and parted out. Rebuilding a C-3 here is all you need from the windshield back plus front suspension. Don't want to bid I can add buy it now for right price OR trade for Dune Buggy/ Sand Rail Solid body (windshield back of course) and solid frame and suspension. NEVER WRECKED..NOT EVEN DOOR DINGS. 1980 FORMER SHOW CORVETTE. ENGINE FIRE TOASTED FRONT END. PUT OUT BEFORE COMPLETE MELTDOW AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS. FRONT BUMPER / AFTERMARKET SPOILER AND HEADLIGHTS APPEAR TO BE OK AND REUSABLE ALONG WITH FRONT PARKING AND SIDE LIGHTS. LOWER FENDERS OK BUT PROBABLY ONLY AS PART OUT AS I WAS TOLD A NEW FRONT CLIP IS EASIEST AND BEST WAY TO GO. INTERIOR UNDAMAGED BY SMOKE OR FIRE BUT HAS A LITTLE EXTINGUISHER POWDER ON DASH. DASH PAD OK AND ORIGINAL WITH A FEW WEAR SCRATCHES . WINDSHIELD SHATTERED WHEN COLD WATER FROM FIRE TRUCK HIT IT. ALL WIRING FRIED OF COURSE BUT PLUGS ON FIRE WALL "SEEM TO BE" OK SO NEW HARNESS WILL PLUG IN. NOT TESTED SO DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. INTERIOR WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR WITH PRE-MOUNTED SEATS FROM ECKLER'S SO COVERS ARE NEW WITH NEW FOAM AND CARPET REPLACED ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO ALSO FROM ECKLER'S, ALL IN ORIGINAL OYSTER. DOOR PANELS ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL ( PASSENGER ONE HAS SMALL RIP) AS WELL AS MIRRORED T-TOPS AND THE REST OF THE INTERIOR.. EXCEPT THE 8-TRACK TAPE PLAYER AND SPEAKERS..LONG GONE AND REPLACED WITH KENWOOD DECK. WINDOW MOTORS REPLACED A FEW YEARS AGO.NEVER HIT OR IN ANY ACCIDENT (BEFORE THE FIRE OF COURSE) AND I AM SECOND OWNER. I BOUGHT FROM MY COUSIN ABOUT 11 YEARS AGO WHO BOUGHT IT NEW IN 1980. 39,400 ORIGINAL MILES AT THE TIME OF THE FIRE. I ONLY DROVE ABOUT 1,000- 1,500 MILES A YEAR TO AND FROM LOCAL SHOWS. BRAKES HAVE DOT 5 SYNTHETIC FLUID, ENGINE ROYAL PURPLE. BOTH ENGINE AND TRANNY ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL AND BOTH ARE PULLED FROM THE CAR BUT INCLUDED AND WERE RUNNING PERFECTLY. ALSO ANY OTHER ITEMS I HAVE THAT CAME OFF THE CAR.SOME PARTS ALREADY TOSSED, SOME SAVED AND MAYBE NO GOOD BUT IN A BOX OR LAYING IN GARAGE. WHEELS ARE AMERICAN RACING POLISHED ALUMINUM TORQ THRUST II , 17" WITH PERFECT OFFSET FOR C-3 CORVETTE AND UNDAMAGED BY THE FIRE. THE 2 FRONT TIRES HOLD AIR BUT WERE BLISTERED , REAR TIRES ARE OK. NO APPARENT FRONT SUSPENSION DAMAGE AND ALL BUSHINGS REPLACED 3-4 YEARS AGO. COLOR IS CYAN PURPLE..MATCH IT.?? A GOOD CUSTOM SHOP CAN IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IT THE SAME. HEADERS AND CUSTOM DUAL 2" FLOWMASTER EXHAUST WITH CHROME TIPS INCLUDED BUT HEADERS UGLY FROM FIRE AND NEED REPLACED. I CAN PART IT OUT FOR MORE THAN RESERVE BUT WOULD RATHER BE DONE WITH IT AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE REBUILT AND NOT CHOPPED UP. WAS GOING TO TRY TO FIX MYSELF BUT BEYOND MY SKILL AND ENERGY LEVEL. IF RESERVE NOT MET I MIGHT CONSIDER TRADE FOR DUNE BUGGY OR PRE-80'S CAMARO OR SIMILAR OR..??. NO MAJOR PROJECTS, I DON'T HAVE THE ENERGY OR THE TIME. ASK BEFORE YOU BID AND WILL ANSWER ASAP.
