Vehicle Detail

I'm offering my 73 Dart for sale. It has a 318 with 3-speed automatic transmission. The car is in original condition except for parts replaced during servicing (no body panels have been replaced). It has the original paint, vinyl top, carpet and interior, and as far as I can tell it has the original engine and transmission. The car has power steering and brakes (front disc, rear drum); it has factory air, which works but leaks refrigerant. It has had in the past 1,000 miles: a complete tune-up (distributor, rotor cap, wires, plugs, etc.), new front brakes and calipers rebuilt; new wiper motor, carb rebuilt, egr valve, battery, alternator rebuilt, transmission fluid and filter service. The car is in very good original condition, but has some flaws. There is surface rust on the rocker panels, and behind passenger side rear wheel well; a small dent in the driver side front wheel well; a small dent in the driver side rear valance. Bumpers are in excellent condition; all chrome/aluminum trim is where it belongs; there is no tearing or defects in the vinyl top; all the controls, lights, switches, etc. work as they should. The original AM radio is in the dash, and it works. Dash pad is in excellent condition, with no cracks or tears; instrument lenses are clear. All glass is original and in good condition, with no cracks or scratches. The windows roll up and down very smoothly. All the lights (head lamps, signals, brake lights, etc. are original and in very good working condition. Seats have no tears or holes, and center armrest moves freely. There are no engine, transmission, or other fluid leaks. The engine runs smoothly and the transmission shifts correctly. The car runs and drives very well; I have driven it on the freeway at speed, and it is solid as a rock without any steering or handling issues. Original build sheet was behind the rear seat when I bought the car and I now have it in a file folder. I have included photos from every angle I thought would present the car fairly. As it is, this car is a solid and attractive driver; and with only a little work could be much more. I recently had this car listed on ebay with a reserve of $5,000. I'm offering it now with a LOWER RESERVE. I believe this car is among the top 10% to be found in this very good original condition. If you've been looking for one, now's the time to have it. Bid with confidence - this car can be driven home within a few hundred miles if you lack trailering equipment. Pick up and/or shipping will be strictly the buyer's responsibility. A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of winning bid, with the balance due within 7 days. Balance to be paid in cash or U.S. Post Office money order only.
