Your Bidding on one of the nicest 74.5 MGB that has been on ebay in a while. Take a look of the pictures an see for your self. A very good driver,that's had all the right things done(have most receipts) to have fun, after work cruise, cruise-ins, parades or those weekend drives. A very fun car to drive and maintain,that looks good were people you meet on the street wave,smile and ask questions and want to look at her. So many things were done to her from January 09 hard to list all. BODY....New paint and strips by previous owner. Floor pans replaced,castle rails replaced. Very rare FIBER GLASS front wings(fenders) A heavy coat of undercoating helps protect the underside.New Stayfast Canvas top adds an extra touch above the stander vinyle tops.(I keep down for driving and up for storage) HANDLING/SUPENSION..Front end had Major Rebuild Kit done by....(BCSS) British Car Specialist Shop (in business for over 35 yrs) in 7-09 with new components and poly bushings. Front control arms( for sway bar) were replaced. Great handling due to the lighter front-end and rebuild. Car weighs only 2200lbs. Rear struts replaced with the popular tube shocks. New 70K mile 195-70-14 Michelin tires w/less than 7k miles, they are in great shap.You can drive 20 -70mph with your thumbs,tracks good in curves and when braking. MOTOR/GEAR BOX ..The 18GF/WE/H976 motor rebuilt by previous owner, with todays components, has less than 12k m. on it. Starts easy,runs good,has good oil press. 45lbs @ idle and 75lbs running after she's warmed up. Oil has been change every 2k or so, filter about every 750-1000 (filters are less than $5 and easy to due) A very reliable Weber 38DGES down draftcarb w/ elec. choke and twin 38 mm barrels that are synchronized for better reponse than the stander 32/36 Weber. Idols nicely @ 850-900rpm. Header and Monza exhaust makes her sound great. Bosch plugs and wire set,new coil and starter. Aluminum Flywheel (BCSS 07-09) installed for less ware on starter, bearings and gearbox and for better mpg. Horse power estimated some were around 115-120 (can get 31mpg) New clutch,clutch PP. clutch slave & master Cylinder installed(BCSS 07-09) Motor's rear seal replaced at same time. Gearbox rebuilt (BCSS 07-09) with 4 new synchros,bearings,springs,etc. Shifts so easy & smooth like new, maybe better. ELECTRICAL 36month Optima Batt. (5-09) in custom batt. box in original location. Batt. cut of switch for convenience,safety and anti theft in a concealed easy to get location. New alternator, fuse box replaced. Fan motor, wipers, and turn signals work. Volt meter installed, wiring gone through and all that I have replace or repaired have been solider and shrink wrapped. All lights work,Dash Trunk, Reverse, License,also has Foot Well lights. INTERIOR New carpet,panels, beautiful black leather seats with red pipiing,matching console and shift knob. Rubber fl mates with red MG logo. Pioneer radio/CD with aux jack for ipods, remote and removable theft protection panel.Custom speakers, fnt(Infinity 3.5") rear(Pioneer 6") Location and boxes design by a sound engineer. No holes cut in doors or body.Fantastic sound 0mph or 70mph w/top down. I have never taken this car out in the rain, below 60dgs or over 90dgs, never had the rpms over 5200 has not run hot while I've had her. Kept in a climate control garage w/cover($100 cover,maintenance manual and some small maintenance parts come with purchase) If you want a MGB that's GOOD LOOKING been garage keep,well maintain and that is a HOOT and a HALF to drive this "B" is for You.
