Heres the real deal. An untouched 1950 Mercury 2 door coupe. Car is all original. This car sounds and looks like it came straight out of the 50's. Flathead runs extremely strong. Transmission shift smooth with no cluth chatter. The brakes have all been redone and works great. This car is still 6 volt. The reason I haven't converted it to 12 is because all the gauges works great. The speedometer works great. Even the blower motor works. The bumpers are staight and in great condition. The grill is in great shape. All the side stainless is there and in good shape. This car is a complete 1950 Mercury. The glass is all there and in great shape. Doors shut good. Car has Fenton Headers with straight pipes. This car sounds great. New 6 volt battery. Interior is all there except the package tray. The interior is all original. The car will need the inner rocker panels and a small place in the drivers floor board repaired or replaced. It will also need some body work done here and there to be perfect. This car would make a great candidate for a chopped Merc or restore it back to original condition, your choice. Own a piece of history.
