Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 2005 Dodge Caravan passenger van. It is in great condition. I purchased it new and am the only one who has owned it. It has a Chrysler warranty until 2012. The van has less than 18,100 miles on it. There are brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them. My van was stolen by a couple of kids a year ago. There was some cosmetic damage that I had fixed through Chrysler Dealership. Namely, they broke the keyhole on the driver's side and smooshed a fender. These were professionally fixed by Chrysler Dealership through my Allstate coverage. So, one may ask, why is this family selling this van? Well, not because there is anything wrong with it, because there is not anything wrong with it. It runs great. I just put new tires on it. Except for general maintenance, that's the only thing I've done to it. But, the truth is, I just applied for retirement Social Security. I have been running my grandchild about in it for a few years when I babysat here and there, but I just don't use it enough. We also have another car, but I only volunteer these days, and I can buy a little runabout to do that. I go to the Gainesville book sale twice a year, but I can rent a van for that deal. That's why it has such low mileage. Quite frankly, I fill up the tank about every three months. Feel free to take it to a mechanic of your choice and certainly drive it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this van. This would make a great family van. OK...this is my second time listing this. The first Buy it Now person thought it was a Grand Caravan. It is just a regular caravan. I just wanted to make that clear. On Aug-10-10 at 16:22:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I am selling my 2005 Dodge Caravan passenger van. However, he found a two inch slit in the second seat cushion, which, by golly, we never noticed. On Aug-10-10 at 16:27:10 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: I have added a photo of the slit the test driver found in the second seat.On Aug-11-10 at 07:08:15 PDT, seller added the following information: WARRANTY INFORMATION: According to Chrysler, the van can be brought to any dealership following purchase and the warranty will be transferred in full to the new owner with a small processing fee. It is transferred based upon the VIN number and is valid until 2012.
