Up for auction is a very rare 1969 Nissan Patrol L60 4X4. It is a great four wheeler and are VERY hard to find in this condition as Nissan only brought about 2600 of these into the U.S. Between 1961-1969. This was the last year that the Patrol was brought in and has all the last year upgrades including a hyd. clutch,windshield frame,doors,hood,ect. This is probably one of the most original Patrols around. The paint is the original 40 year old light blue and as this Patrol has spent it's life in California it is very solid with very little surface rust. The top does come off and it did not have a hard top when I bought it, so I bought all the pieces,including the windows, and put one together, then had the top painted white. As you can see in the pictures the interior is light brown and in very good shape. Also when I bought this Patrol it had big 33 inch tires and rims so the Patrol's rear fenders were cut to fit them and they put on some real ugly fender flares, so I took them off and it could use some rear jeep rear flares put on to finish it. I bought new 275x75x15 bfg's All-terrain's and white spoke rims that I have put only 1400 miles on them. It has solid axles like a jeep with a 4:10 gear ratio. The frame is in PERFECT RUST FREE condition. The engine is super strong, fires right up and roars to life ready to go. Tranny is in perfect running condition as is the transfer case. NOT EVER wrecked or dented,as you can see, that's why I haven't painted it. All glass is crack free. Has a new battery. Even has the original hand crank starter!! I also have the spare tire carrier that goes with the Patrol. I find myself working a lot more and it sitting a lot more, so time to find it a new home. It has a Calif. title.
