This is a 63 vw pan with a 65 body fiberglass fenders .the state issued me a new vin number thats whyit is a 63 "they go by the oldest part that being the pan" this car has a dual port engine with 87 mm pistons that make it a 1648 it has a dellorto 38 carb and runs wery well and strong aluminum rims on front with new tires chevy rims on the back with 31-10.5 15 on back pioneer cd with ipod input small amp 2 6inch in front 2 6-9's in back with a 10 inch sub all in a custom inclosur cb with weather allert t-shift with reverse lock out and short through deepcycle battery to run the radio and cb for long periods with out getting stranded My son and I used this car to go hunt and fishing in the Wyoming backcountry southwind gas heater mounted in front to keep you warm in really cold weather and boy will it
